AS400566 — Cooperative Computing Alliance

Settlement-Free Interconnection

Cooperative Computing Alliance operates an open peering policy and welcomes the opportunity to engage in settlement-free interconnection (peering) with responsible BGP speakers that meet our technical requirements and are present at mutual Internet Exchange points.

Peering requests must be submitted via our online peering portal. Cooperative Computing Alliance reserves the right to accept or reject any peering request at its sole discretion.

Technical Requirements

  • A publicly routable and visible unique Autonomous System Number (ASN)
  • Network edge router capable of running BGP4
  • Complete and current PeeringDB entry
  • 24/7 NOC contact information provided at session establishment
  • Compliance with the technical requirements of each applicable Internet Exchange
  • Properly registered routes in an Internet Routing Registry (IRR)

Session Configuration

  • MD5 Authentication: Supported (optional)
  • BFD: Supported (optional)
  • Address Families: IPv4 and IPv6 supported
  • Max Prefix Limits: Enforced - please provide accurate prefix counts

Traffic Requirements

  • No minimum traffic volume requirements
  • No traffic ratio requirements
  • No geographic or location requirements

General Terms

  • Each party bears its own expenses of reaching the peering site and responsibility for any necessary licenses, authorizations, or other regulatory approvals.
  • Cooperative Computing Alliance may suspend or terminate connectivity with any peering partner at any time, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason.
  • Peering partner will make every effort to prevent malicious, illegal, or other undesirable traffic from traversing the interconnection.
  • Cooperative Computing Alliance reserves the right to modify this peering policy and its requirements at any time without notice.
  • This policy and the act of peering do not create any binding obligations, service level agreements, or guarantees regarding network performance, availability, or uptime.
  • No contract is required for peering.
  • Peering is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.
